Two main stories with too much coverage during the past week:
- Omar Khadr – Omar Khadr’s legal team wisely put his bid to “return” to Canada on the back burner last week. The timing was just not right to push the request – it being Remembrance Day, and he being a proud terrorist and convicted murderer. My take: Omar is no more a Canadian than the Chinese noodles I just had for lunch. He has never lived in this country and he is a Pakistani citizen – “return” him back there.
- Occupy Movement – some of the major cities are starting to move these losers out of their public parks. Now it appears that the cleanup crews are having a hard time dealing with the large deposits of raw human waste, discarded drug gear and used condoms left behind my many of the “protesters”. My take: for the most part this is not a movement, just a bunch of party animals and losers having a ball doing drugs, freeloading and having sex in public areas. Before being kicked out of these parks they should be forced to clean up their mess.
