Omar Khadr is scheduled to be released from prison in a couple of days – 31 Oct 11 – just in time for Remembrance Day. We all remember Omar and the Khadr family. Omar is a convicted murderer having killed an unarmed US medic in Afghanistan. He was also responsible for building IEDs which were deployed against Canadian soldiers. He has never expressed remorse for his actions and has actually bragged about his terrorist activities. Although Omar was born in Canada, he has never lived in this country and is currently a Pakistani citizen. My advise to the security minister – do not allow Omar into this country.
