Canada lost a great Canadian earlier today when Jack Layton died of cancer – he was just 61 years old. Jack spent his entire adult life in various levels of politics. Just a few months ago he lead the NDP to its greatest victory todate – defeating the Bloc in Quebec and forming the official opposition in Ottawa. One only wonders what could have been – RIP Jack.
