The big news out of Libya this week is that Muammar’s Ukrainian nurse, Galyna Kolotnytska, (above as a young nurse with Muammar dressed as Mussolini and insert as she is today at age 38), has returned to her home in Kiev, Ukraine. Apparently she took bags of cash with her, and consequently, is still affectionate toward the Libyan nut-case who she calls “Papa”: “Papa is the best!” she was reported to have said on the plane yesterday. Galyna, so far, has been loyal to her sugar daddy and has refused to talk publicly about Muammar. The two have been together for many years and the trust is mutual – for some reason he does not trust Libyan nurses although his second wife is a Libyan trained nurse. One of Galyna’s main duties as Muammar’s personal nurse was stroking his swollen (not that) ego – sometimes twice a day. For the record, Galyna’s family has strongly denied that she is in a relationship with the despot – and I for one believe that ; > Before leaving his side yesterday, one of her last duties was to ensure that he had access to an ample supply of botox and syringes.
