Our despot friend, Libyan dictator Moammar al-Gadhafi, is having another bad week. Just a few days ago, he decided to fight back against the Muslim-brotherhood-led rioters by unleashing tank, mortar and anti-aircraft fire on the mostly unarmed protesters in three rebellious cities outside the capital. Although he is a certified nut-case fighting a losing battle, Moammar has one thing right – the driving force behind the unrest throughout the region is the Muslim brotherhood led from behind the scenes by Osama bin-Laden. NOT the common citizens as we would like to believe. The majority of the population in this region are simply too poor, too illiterate, too screwed up by religious mumble jumble and too preoccupied finding enough food to eat to be bothered with rioting in the streets. Moammar is correct when he says that the majority of the unrest is being caused by “the rich engineers, teachers and lecturers … with no reasonable demands. Their demands are being dictated to them by bin Laden. People of Zawiya, your sons are being duped by bin Laden,” he said in a speech last night. I believe him – once the Muslim brotherhood take charge – watch out. Meanwhile, many Westerners, including some Canadians, living in Libya by choice – making tons of money – (some) too stupid to make plans for this type of event – are crying to their governments for help. ”We are once again somewhere we shouldn’t be and we could care less if you spend millions of tax dollars and jeopardize innocent lives – but come rescue us NOW.” Allaha Ackbar
