New Painting – Red Island

I finally completed one of four oil paintings I’m currently working on and trying to finish before the start of golf season. The painting above is a large (24 x 36″) oil on double-primed stretched canvas – studio grade. Its a composite of scenes from the west tip of Cape St George, looking toward Red Island which can be seen in the distance. I also used an edited copy of the painting, when I was asked as a favour, to design the CD/CD front cover (see below) for Roy LeMoine’s new release “West Side of the Rock”.
