Many Canadians do not want Omar Khadr “returned” to Canada. After all he is a self-confessed murderer of an unarmed US medic and he is probably responsible for building some of the IEDs that killed Canadian and NATO troops. Allowing him into this country is like handing him a get-out-of-jail-free-card. On top of that, his lawyers are already laying the groundwork to sue the Canadian taxpayer for millions of dollars to reward the confessed murderer. Many Canadians, myself included, do not agree with this outrage. We believe that he should do his time in the US and subsequently be sent back to his real home in Pakistan.
