I was not going to post about Russ William – god knows we are hearing enough about the sick bastard in the media. However, in all of this there is one thing puzzling me. Somebody who either knew Williams or was associated with him must of known or suspected that something was terribly wrong here. Maybe not murder, but at least some suspicion related to his career as a deranged sex-stalker. Senior members in the military specifically chose him to be “mentored” and fast tracked into senior positions and higher ranks. After his stint as CO of CFB Trenton, he most likely would have been appointed head of the Air Force and subsequently on track for the CDS position. Was there no contact with the man after hours? Also, considering the hoard of ” trophies” (hundreds of undergarments stolen from women and young girls, hundreds of photos, numerous spreadsheets detailing his activities and hours of video) he had laying around at his homes in Ottawa and Tweed. Did he not have any visitors, did he live alone? Come on – somebody must have known or suspected something. P.S. I only met Williams a few times when I was the J6 at the Military Staff College (Toronto), and he was a senior student. MPC
