Today another brave young Canadian soldier was killed while serving on the failed mission in Afghanistan. Pte (Sapper) Brian Collier, just 24 years old, was killed by an IED when he dismounted from his vehicle. The Islamic terrorist attack occurred near Nakhonay, some 15 kms west of Kandahar. Collier was a proud member of 1 Combat Engineer Regiment out of CFB Edmonton. He was born in Toronto and raised in Bradford, Ont. Pte Collier is the 151st CF member to be killed my Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan since the Liberal government’s decision to have the Canadian military take part in the fiasco in 2002. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
