I’ve said it before and I will say it again, yes its all about the medal count.  I’m talking about the Olympic Games and the poor showing by Canada thus far – just 10 Medals with less than one week to go.  What happened to the $117 million the Canadian taxpayer sunk into the “Own the Podium” program – WTF.  Canada is just one point ahead of South Korea.  The biggest disappointments are our Men’s and Women’s  Ski Teams.  Despite all the hype, despite all the extra funding, and most of all, despite the best ski training  facilities in the world - ditto.   When you compare the facilities used by the South Korean skiers with those available to  our skiers, you just have to shake your head –  the Canadian taxpayer should be entitled to a full-refund after this fiasco.  Go Canada Go.   M.P.
