Nothing much going on today so I watched Tiger Woods’ public apology for his transgressions against his family, friends and fans.  While it was uncomfortable watching a sports superstar and multi-millionaire humble himself in public, it was the right thing for Tiger to do, and I wish him well in his recovery.  His one interesting comment for me was when he said he wanted to get back to his religion – Buddhism.  Although I am not an overly religious person – as a Master Mason I lean toward the Catharsis concept of a god – I have a lot of respect for Buddhists.  To me, and I may be wrong, it’s a kind gentle religion that embraces all mankind.  I do know that it is not some terrorist organization thinly disguised as a religion with a warped fixation on  killing all non-believers and bent on eventual world domination.  I’ll say no more on that subject for fear of being fire-bombed.  Allahu Akbar.   Well done Tiger, we are looking forward to watching some of that great golf later this year.  MPC
